ACME Solar Holdings Limited has successfully commissioned an additional 19.8 MW capacity at its maiden wind power project in Shapar, Gujarat, bringing total commissioned capacity to 46.2 MW out of the planned 50 MW installation. Phased Commissioning Strategy Delivers Results
Following the initial 26.4 MW commissioning in May 2025, ACME Solar’s wholly-owned subsidiary ACME Pokhran Solar Private Limited has now achieved 92.4% completion of the 50 MW wind project. The phased approach allows for revenue generation during construction while optimizing operational efficiency across the installation timeline.

The project leverages Gujarat’s superior wind resource potential, positioning ACME Solar to capitalize on seasonal wind patterns while meeting long-term power purchase commitments. Power generated from the facility is sold under a 25-year Power Purchase Agreement with Gujarat Urja Vikas Nigam Limited, ensuring stable revenue streams throughout the operational period.
