ACME Solar Holdings Limited (NSE: ACMESOLAR, BSE: 544283) has announced the full commissioning of its 300 MW solar power project in Bikaner, Rajasthan, through its wholly-owned subsidiary, ACME Sikar Solar Private Limited. With the addition of the final 60 MW phase, the company’s total operational renewable energy capacity now stands at 2,890 MW, marking a significant milestone in its growth trajectory.
Phased Commissioning Delivers Full Capacity
52.5 MW of the 300 MW project was put into service in May 2025, followed by 112.5 MW later that month, 75 MW in early June, and the final 60 MW on June 23, 2025. The project is situated on roughly 1,300 acres in Bikaner, which is one of the areas with the highest sun irradiation in India.

A 220 kV transmission line connects it to the Bikaner II substation. This strategic location ensures optimal energy output, with the facility expected to generate around 780 million units of renewable electricity annually.
The Central Electricity Regulatory Commission (CERC) authorized the project, which was granted under the SECI-ISTS XVIII scheme at a tariff of ₹3.05 per unit. The Power Purchase Agreement (PPA) is expected to be finalized soon. Until then, power generated from the commissioned capacity will be sold on power exchanges at merchant tariffs.

Portfolio Diversification and In-House Capabilities
Alongside this solar milestone, ACME Solar has also completed its maiden 50 MW wind project in Shapar, Gujarat, during the current quarter. This project, located in one of India’s highest wind zones, operates under a 25-year PPA with GUVNL and was executed using the company’s in-house engineering, procurement, and construction (EPC) capabilities.
ACME Solar’s integrated approach, featuring in-house EPC and O&M divisions, enables end-to-end project development and maintenance. This model ensures timely, cost-effective project delivery and industry-leading capacity utilization factors and operating margins.
