DPIIT Partners with boAt to Accelerate India’s Startup Growth

The Department for Promotion of Industry and Internal Trade (DPIIT) enters into an alliance with boAt, which is one of India’s most important brands in audio and wearables, to help DPIIT-recognized;

DPIIT-enables the program to nurture innovative ideas within the Direct-to-Consumer and manufacturing spaces.

The arrangement lays out access to startup mentorship programs, resource facilities for developing products, and guidance to scale prototype production. Similarly, the collaboration is expected to offer inputs about going global, which improves Indian startup competitiveness.

Commenting on the scheme, Shri Sanjiv, Joint Secretary of Startup India, said, “This will further bolster India’s startup ecosystem in connecting entrepreneurs to industry leaders like boAt”.

boAt’s co-founder Aman Gupta said: ”It’s the manifestation to of our commitment to the ‘Make in India‘ priority, going ahead to empower innovators and entrepreneurs across the country in a very simplified way”.

The strategic partnership is anticipated to drive growth for India’s startups in innovation and recognition.
