HCL Technologies Reports 2.9% Revenue Growth in Q2, with Net Income at ₹4,235 Crores

In October , 2024 HCL Technologies (HCLTech) published the results of financial accounts of their second quarter which is for the fiscal year 2024 (Q2 2024). The company reported quite impressive figures: HCLTech’s consolidated revenue stood at ₹28,862 crores which is 2.9% more than in the previous quarter and 8.2% greater than one year ago.

As for income, the net quarterly income was 4.235 crores. This amount decreased by 0.5% on quarterly basis, but it is 10.5% higher than the revenues recorded in the same quarter of the previous year.

The EBIT figures reported also had an impressive standing, with the recording of ₹ 5,362 crores, representing an 11.8% increase on QoQ basis and an 8.7% increase from the previous year.

Not only that, the Book Value Per Share (BPS) also saw a drastic change as it improved by 35.7% YoY which is an improvement of 353 basis points.

In terms of future expectations, HCLTech projects revenues to continue growing, this time between 3.5% and 5.0%, on a year-on-year basis for the financial year 2025 in constant currencies. This outlook shows the operational strength of the company’s business and its ability to meet the prevailing demand in different segments.

In conclusion, because of the good recent performance in quarter 2 and the positive FY25 forecast, HCLTech seems to maintaing its competitive edge in the market.
