
JSW Energy, through its subsidiary JSW Neo Energy, has completed the acquisition of a 4.7 GW renewable energy platform from O2 Power for ₹12,468 crore. The deal includes solar, wind, hybrid, and RTC projects spread across seven Indian states.
With this acquisition, JSW’s total installed capacity increases to 12,212 MW, with 6,554 MW now coming from renewable sources. Around 2,259 MW of the acquired capacity is expected to be operational by June 2025, while the remaining will be completed by 2027. Once fully commissioned, the portfolio is expected to generate annual EBITDA of around ₹3,750 crore.

Most of the platform’s capacity is already tied up under long-term PPAs, ensuring steady revenue. Experienced professionals and enhanced connectivity, gained through the acquisition, will help JSW reach its 20 GW capacity target ahead of 2030.
