Rail Vikas Nigam Limited (RVNL), a Navratna Company and Government of India Enterprise, has successfully secured a significant Letter of Award (LOA) from the East Coast Railway.
The receipt of this award was disclosed on 27 November 2025 in compliance with Regulation 30 of the SEBI (Listing Obligations and Disclosure Requirements) Regulations, 2015.
The contract, received from the East Coast Railway Store Tender, involves the detailed “Supply, Installation, Testing and Commissioning of IP based Video Surveillance System”.
This critical infrastructure project is specifically intended for the rolling stock operated by the East Coast Railway (ECoR).
Furthermore, the system must adhere strictly to the technical standards set out in RDSO Specification No.:- RDSO/SPN/TC/106/2025, version 3.1.
RVNL was awarded this substantial project as the sole bidder. The work is categorized as being in the normal course of business for the Company.
The financial consideration for this domestic entity contract, excluding GST, is valued at Rs. 9,64,07,109.79/- (Rupees Nine Crore Sixty-Four Lacs Seven Thousand One Hundred Nine and Seventy-Nine Paisa Only).
The awarded contract mandates a brisk execution timeline, requiring commencement within 30 days of the contract’s issue and subsequent completion within 180 days thereafter.
RVNL affirmed that there is no related party transaction involved, nor do the promoter or promoter group hold any interest in the entity that awarded the order.
