Rail Vikas Nigam Limited (RVNL) has secured a Rs 221.33 crore order from South East Central Railway, according to a BSE filing.
The order is for the replacement of panel interlocking with electronic interlocking, all indoor and outdoor gears, OFC huts, construction of S&T service buildings, and electrification of S&T service buildings including cabling works in adjoining block sections of various stations of Bilaspur Division of South East Central Railway.
The project involves the execution of the aforementioned works within a period of 730 days. The order adds to RVNL‘s existing portfolio of railway projects, strengthening its position in the infrastructure sector.
Earlier, the company had received several orders from various railway zones, bolstering its order book. The contract was awarded through a competitive bidding process, demonstrating RVNL‘s capabilities in the railway sector.
As part of the agreement, RVNL will be responsible for the completion of the project within the stipulated timeframe. The order reinforces RVNL‘s position as a leading player in the railway infrastructure sector.
