The coalition generally aims to address one of the most major hurdles between EV users: gas stations. Tata Power will put to use its resources and experience in opening charging stations at the Tivolt dealers, customers’ places, and other public places. Meanwhile, Tivolt, which focuses on small electric commercial vehicles innovatively marketed under Montra Electric, will incorporate these solutions into its expanding network, saving the hassle of duplication between the two players.

Most importantly, this partnership houses explorations into solar-powered charging stations, which should work not just toward reducing user charging costs, but also toward a greener future.

On the initiative, Deepesh Nanda, CEO of TPREL, asserted, “These vehicles are the backbone of India’s economy, and a robust EV ecosystem will drive their adoption and support India’s energy transition.”

Saju Nair, CEO of Tivolt, expressed, “This partnership is a game changer. Together, we are not just setting up charging infrastructure but actually building a cleaner, sustainable tomorrow.”

However, collaborations such as this are important in taking forward the charge to effective future mobility for everyone as EVs have increasingly become that future.
