The transaction, completed today, February 20, 2025, involves the acquisition of 191,08,28,025 ordinary equity shares of TSHP, each with a face value of USD 0.157.
This move reinforces Tata Steel’s commitment to TSHP, ensuring it remains a vital part of the Tata Steel group. Following the completion of this transaction, TSHP will continue to operate as a wholly-owned subsidiary of Tata Steel.
The investment is intended to support TSHP’s growth and strategic objectives within the Tata Steel ecosystem. Although specific details of the strategic objectives were not outlined, this has been intended to support TSHP’s growth.

The USD to INR exchange rate used for the conversion was ₹86.7721, as published by the Reserve Bank of India on February 17, 2025.
