
Britannia Industries Limited (NSE: BRITANNIA, BSE: 500825) has announced that Rajneet Singh Kohli, Executive Director and Chief Executive Officer, has resigned from his position to pursue an opportunity outside the company. His resignation is effective as of the close of business hours on March 14, 2025.
The Board of Directors noted Mr. Kohli’s resignation today, March 6, 2025, via a circular resolution. Mr. Kohli submitted his resignation on March 5, 2025, citing personal reasons in his resignation letter (enclosed as Annexure-I in the company filing).
T. V. Thulsidass, Company Secretary of Britannia Industries Limited, confirmed the CEO’s departure in a filing with the stock exchanges.
Rajneet Singh Kohli’s departure marks the end of his tenure as CEO of Britannia Industries. The company will now begin the process of identifying a successor to lead the organization forward.

Crackdown on Electricity Theft
The Chamundeshwari Electricity Supply Corporation Limited (CESC) Vigilance Team has imposed fines totaling ₹6.36 crore on individuals illegally tapping power across Mysuru, Chamarajanagar, Mandya, Kodagu, and Hassan districts. So far, ₹5.94 crore has been recovered.
