The comprehensive government project focuses on signalling, telecommunications, and interlocking systems in the Gevra Road-Pendra Road section and various new stations.
The scope of work includes:
- Supply of various signalling, telecommunications, and EIMWB (Electronic In-Motion Weigh Bridge) materials.
- Installation, Testing, and Commissioning of Distributed/Centralised Electronic Interlocking (EI) at ten new stations: Surakachhar, Block Cabin, Katghora Road, Bhingra, Putuwa, Matin, Sendurgarh, Putipakhana, Dhangawan, and Bhadi.
- Installation, Testing, and Commissioning of six new IBSs (Inter Block Sections) in sections like Bhingra-Putuwa, Putuwa-Matin, Sendurgarh-Putipakhana, Putipakhana-Bhadi, Bhadi-Dhangawan & Dhangawan-Pendra Road.
- Installation, Testing, and Commissioning of a New Section Control System with Headquarters and Wayside Train Control Communication Equipment/System in the Gevra Road-Pendra Road section.
- Alterations/modifications in existing panel interlocking at Kusmunda Block Station (KBS) yard and electronic interlocking at East Cabin of SECL SILO Siding (KMKA) yard, plus other miscellaneous works.
Awarded by a domestic entity under General Contract Conditions, the project is to be executed within 11 months, including the monsoon period.
