MumbaiABB India Limited (NSE: ABB, BSE: 500002) has announced a significant new order valued at ₹173,55,00,000/- (Rupees One hundred seventy-three crores fifty-five lakhs only) from Siemens Gamesa Renewable Power Private Limited, Chennai.

The order, accepted on August 28, 2025, at 7 PM IST, positions ABB India as a key supplier for the burgeoning renewable energy sector.

Under the terms of the contract, 3.X wind turbine converters and electrical cabinets will be manufactured and supplied. This is a built-to-print domestic supply order that will be fulfilled from the Nelamangala factory of ABB India.

The execution of this substantial order is scheduled for monthly deliveries, commencing in January 2026 and continuing through to December 2026.

This timeline suggests a steady revenue stream for ABB India throughout the year, reinforcing its role in the country’s clean energy infrastructure development.

ABB India has confirmed that its own promoter/promoter group/group companies have no interest in Siemens Gamesa Renewable Power Private Limited, the entity awarding the order.

Furthermore, the transaction does not fall under related party transactions, ensuring it was conducted at “arm’s length”. This highlights the commercial nature of the agreement, driven by market dynamics and technical capabilities.
