Larsen & Toubro Limited (L&T) has announced a major boost to its order book, revealing that its Heavy Engineering vertical has recently secured multiple orders across both international and domestic markets.

The orders, which the company has officially classified as “Significant,” underscore the technical prowess and cutting-edge manufacturing capabilities of the Indian multinational.

For a quick market context, L&T classifies an order as “Significant” when its value falls between ₹1,000 Crore and ₹2,500 Crore. The securing of these major contracts reinforces the company’s reliability in delivering high-performance solutions globally.

A Global Foothold: Key International Wins

The Heavy Engineering vertical demonstrated a substantial global footprint with wins spanning four major regions:

  1. United States: The company secured a crucial order to manufacture Vessels for an NGL (Natural Gas Liquids) fractionator project. Additionally, L&T will supply the Cartridge for a Blue Ammonia project located in Louisiana.
  2. Mexico: Larsen & Toubro won orders for key ammonia and urea processing equipment designated for two distinct fertiliser plants in the country.
  3. Brazil: The vertical secured a contract for critical Heat Exchangers intended for the replacement market.
  4. Saudi Arabia: L&T was awarded an order related to an amendment to a critical contract involving the HOFCC Reactor and Regenerator revamp for a major refinery and integrated petrochemical complex in the region.

Nuclear and Domestic Market Success

Domestically, L&T secured crucial equipment orders for the 2RK65 Heat Exchanger Package (comprising four units) of proprietary MOC (Material of Construction). This equipment is intended for a major customer’s 3 MMTPA PTA7 project at Dahej in Gujarat.

Furthermore, the company highlighted its continued strength in highly specialised fields, confirming orders for critical equipment destined for both international and domestic nuclear projects.
