LTIMindtree (LTM), a global leader in AI-centric technology services and a subsidiary of the Larsen & Toubro Group, has announced a strategic partnership with the National Film Development Corporation (NFDC) and Waves Bazaar to host a first-of-its-kind AI Cinema Showcase.
The event will be a centerpiece of the upcoming India AI Impact Summit 2026, scheduled to take place at Bharat Mandapam, New Delhi, from February 16 to 20, 2026.
Operating under the aegis of the Ministry of Information & Broadcasting, the collaboration aims to explore the cutting-edge intersection of traditional cinema and emerging artificial intelligence technologies.
As part of this initiative, LTM BlueVerse CraftStudio and Waves Bazaar—a government-backed digital marketplace launched in early 2025—will provide a platform for Indian filmmakers, students, and creative studios to showcase how AI can serve as a meaningful storytelling tool.
The showcase will feature short films selected based on their narrative strength, creative intent, and responsible use of AI. These films will be screened at a dedicated Immersive Room AI Theatre within the Ministry of Information and Broadcasting pavilion.
This partnership marks a continuation of LTM’s momentum in the creative technology space.
In November 2025, the company successfully concluded India’s first Artificial Intelligence Film Festival and Hackathon during the 56th International Film Festival of India (IFFI) in Goa.
By moving beyond policy and pure technology, LTM is positioning itself at the forefront of the cultural and creative AI landscape.
