KEC International Ltd., a global leader in Engineering, Procurement, and Construction (EPC) and a flagship of the RPG Group, has announced the acquisition of significant new contracts worth Rs 1,002 crores across its diverse business verticals.
The latest wins reinforce the company’s dominant position in the infrastructure sector, particularly within its Transmission & Distribution (T&D) and Cables segments.
The Transmission & Distribution (T&D) vertical continues to be a primary growth engine for the company, securing a series of high-value projects both domestically and internationally. Key highlights from this segment include:
- India T&D: A major composite order for 220/132 kV transmission lines, substations, and Extra High Voltage (EHV) cabling.
- International Markets: An additional order for a 400 kV transmission line abroad.
- Americas: Contracts for the supply of towers, hardware, and poles, further strengthening KEC’s footprint in the Western Hemisphere.
In addition to its T&D triumphs, KEC’s Cables & Conductors business has secured various orders for the supply of cables and conductors within India and across overseas markets. These orders contribute to the company’s steady stream of “normal course of business” revenue.
Mr. Vimal Kejriwal, MD & CEO of KEC International Ltd., expressed confidence in the company’s trajectory, noting that the new wins have “significantly strengthened” the T&D order book.
“We are pleased with the new order wins, especially the orders in our T&D business,” Mr. Kejriwal stated. He specifically highlighted the composite order in India, noting that it has “further diversified our customer mix in the India T&D order book”.
With these latest additions, KEC International’s year-to-date (YTD) order intake has reached approximately Rs 21,300 crores, demonstrating robust momentum as the fiscal year progresses.
