RNIT AI Solutions Limited, formerly known as Autopal Industries Limited, has announced a significant milestone in its growth trajectory by securing multiple work orders from Telangana Technology Services Limited (TGTS), a Government of Telangana undertaking.
The deal underscores the company’s rising dominance in the AI-driven E-Governance sector.
The project involves the implementation and maintenance of AI-based Facial Recognition Attendance Management Systems across the State of Telangana.
This initiative is set to transform how attendance is tracked within the Government Higher Education Department, specifically covering:
- The State Board of Technical Education and Training (SBTET).
- The Collegiate Education Department.
- ITI institutions across the state.
The scale of the project is immense, with the scope of work covering approximately 1,000,000 (1 million) users. This move reinforces RNIT’s presence in the Higher Education E-Governance domain and strengthens its partnership with government-led technological initiatives.
Investors should note the lucrative Software-as-a-Service (SaaS) model adopted for this contract. Rather than a one-time fee, the project utilizes transaction-based pricing. Under this arrangement:
- Billing: Monthly billing will be based on actual usage.
- Revenue Generation: Consideration is determined by the number of attendance authentications processed through the platform.
- Duration: The contract is set for a three-year period, including both implementation and maintenance, providing a steady, recurring revenue stream for the company.
The receipt of these orders, communicated to the BSE on March 20, 2026, marks a pivotal expansion for RNIT AI Solutions. By successfully penetrating the Higher Education sector in another state, the company is positioning itself as a leader in large-scale AI deployments for public infrastructure.
