Wipro has secured a large contract with Olam Group, a leading food and agri-business company, and as part of this engagement, it will acquire Mindsprint, Olam Group’s IT services arm, for $375 million.

According to a BSE filing, the acquisition is expected to be completed by June 30, 2026. The deal is subject to anti-trust approvals under the competition laws of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and Australia.

The acquisition of Mindsprint will strengthen Wipro‘s capabilities in the IT services sector, particularly in the food and agri-business domain. Mindsprint has a global workforce of over 3,200 employees across India, Singapore, US, UK, and the Middle East.

The company provides technology and digital transformation services across enterprise applications, data & analytics, digital platform engineering, customer experience, cloud & infrastructure, cybersecurity, and business process services.

As part of the agreement with Olam Group, Wipro will partner in an end-to-end transformation through a consulting-led and AI-powered approach.

The engagement will draw on Wipro‘s industry expertise, partnerships with leading technology providers, and Wipro Intelligence, its unified suite of AI-powered platforms, solutions, and transformative offerings.

The order adds to Wipro‘s large contract wins in the IT services sector, bolstering its order book and strengthening its pipeline. This acquisition reinforces Wipro‘s position as a leading player in the IT services sector, with a strong presence in the food and agri-business domain.

This acquisition is expected to have a positive impact on Wipro‘s financials, with the deal expected to exceed $1 billion in contract value. The acquisition of Mindsprint will help Wipro to expand its capabilities and strengthen its position in the IT services sector.
