Blue Cloud Softech Solutions Limited has announced a major strategic partnership aimed at transforming the telecommunications and digital landscape across Africa.
In an official regulatory disclosure filed with BSE Limited under Regulation 30 of the SEBI Listing Obligations and Disclosure Requirements Regulations, 2015, which was signed by Company Secretary MHVSN Sambhu Prasad on 20 August 2026, the India-listed company revealed it has signed a landmark Memorandum of Agreement with the Global Council for Investment and Business for Africa and Côte d’Ivoire-based Afro Mobile SARL.
The comprehensive agreement, which was initially dated 7 August 2026 and fully executed on 19 August 2026, establishes a cooperative framework spanning an initial term of five years.
The partnership is structured to identify, finance, develop, and operate critical high-tech infrastructure across the African continent. Under this framework, the three organizations intend to build national fibre-optic backbone networks, deploy next-generation 4G and 5G mobile network infrastructure, and establish key international connectivity nodes including submarine cable landing stations and internet exchange points.
The scope of the alliance also extends to passive infrastructure, such as telecommunications towers, as well as digital public platforms covering digital identity, national interoperability, e-government services, and digital payment systems. To ensure coverage reaches remote and underserved regions, the framework incorporates satellite connectivity solutions, including Very Small Aperture Terminal and Low Earth Orbit satellite services.
Each partner brings a distinct set of capabilities to the newly formed alliance. Blue Cloud Softech Solutions, as the Lead Technology and Digital Transformation Partner, is tasked with designing and deploying the technological systems, overseeing platform architecture, managing systems integration, and leading technical and financial coordination.
The Global Council for Investment and Business for Africa will step in as the Strategic Development and Investment Partner, leveraging its international network to drive governmental engagement and mobilize global investors. Afro Mobile SARL will serve as the Telecommunications and Digital Infrastructure Partner, bringing localized expertise to manage operator and regulatory relations, build capacity, and cultivate regional partnerships.
