According to a BSE filing dated August 28, 2026, TVS Motor Company has appointed Peyman Kargar as its new Director and Chief Executive Officer, effective January 27, 2027. The move follows a strong FY2025‑26 performance and signals a fresh strategic thrust.
The incumbent, K.N. Radhakrishnan, will retain his CEO duties until the hand‑over date, after which he will serve as a Non‑Executive Director up to the AGM slated for July 2027. This continuity plan aims to ensure a seamless leadership transition.
In FY2025‑26, the firm recorded a record 5.9 million vehicles sold worldwide and posted 30% revenue growth, reinforcing its market leadership in two‑ and three‑wheelers. The robust results provide a solid platform for the next growth phase.
Kargar, presently the President of International Business, brings over three decades of global automotive experience across Europe, Asia, Africa and the Middle East. Under his stewardship, the International Business segment now contributes 29% of total sales and is expanding at a 33% pace.
The appointment positions TVS Motor Company to accelerate global expansion and deepen product innovation, reinforcing its ambition to become a leading mobility player worldwide.
