Hyundai Motor released its financial results for the second quarter of the fiscal year 2024-2025 and noted that the company was still on a growth path in spite of the negative effects felt across the globe. The company’s revenues grew by 6.6% year-on-year to KRW 45.02 trillion, while operating profits increased by 0.7% to reach KRW 4.28 trillion. The operating profit margin achieved was 9.5%.
Net profit surged by 24.7% to KKR 4.17 trillion, sales of units stood at 1,057,168, Units. Hyundai announced a dividend payment of KRW 2,000, which is its way of enhancing shareholder value.
In the electric vehicle market, Hyundai intends to improve its hybrids and electric vehicles offerings with investments in its global electrification and development services. The corporation also strives to ensure profitability with strategic initiatives even with the issues caused in the economy.
