Bajel Projects Limited (NSE: BAJEL) has announced securing a large EPC (Engineering, Procurement, and Construction) order from Madhya Pradesh Power Transmission Corporation Limited (MPPTCL) to support the Bhopal Metro Rail Project.
The project involves the supply of all materials and complete construction of 132kV Double Circuit Double String (DCDS) Overhead/Underground transmission lines from 220 KV S/s Bairagarh to RSS Karond and 220 kV Adampur to RSS Ratnagiri Tiraha. It includes the installation of monopoles, lattice structures, and EHV underground cables, along with associated 132kV feeder bays/132kV switchyards and the installation of 220kV, 160 MVA Power Transformers at respective substations.

The project, categorized as a “Large” order as per the company’s policy (ranging from ₹100 Cr to ₹200 Cr), is expected to be completed within 24 months from the date of issuance of the Notification of Award.
