Nifty 50 ended at 24,167 in green followed by Nifty Bank which closed at 55,647 in green, and even Nifty Next 50 ended at 65,548 in green. Even though all indices closed positive, none managed to cross the 1% mark.
Nifty 50:
ITC led the gains, rising 2.36%, followed by HINDUNILVR which gained 2.21%. HDFCBANK and JIOFIN were both up by 1.71%, while M&M added 1.70% and TATACONSUM rose 1.57%.

On the losing side, INDUSINDBK dropped sharply by 4.79%. POWERGRID declined 2.11%, HEROMOTOCO fell 2.02%, INFY was down 1.93%, and WIPRO slipped 1.87%.
Bank Nifty:
HDFCBANK and CANBK topped the gainers’ list, each increasing by 1.71%. PNB experienced a rise of 1.10%, while KOTAKBANK saw an addition of 1.05%. Among the laggards, INDUSINDBK dropped 4.79%, AUBANK declined 1.22%, and AXISBANK was down 0.64%.
Nifty Next 50:
UNITDSPR led the gains with a 2.85% rise. DMART was up 2.16%, DABUR gained 1.99%, LODHA added 1.89%, and CANBK also posted a 1.71% gain. On the downside, CHOLAFIN fell 5.95%, JSWENERGY dropped 2.38%, ADANIGREEN declined 1.23%, and GAIL was down 0.98%.
Overall, the market was bullish in the starting phase but saw a decline toward the end. Still, almost all indices ended in green — not a major rise, but also not a sharp fall.
