Nifty 50 closed flat at 24,461, showing little movement. The Bank Nifty concluded the trading session at a lower level of 54,919, whereas the Nifty Next 50 demonstrated superior performance, increasing by 1% to close at 65,406.
Nifty 50:
ADANIENT led the pack with a 7.44% gain. ADANIPORTS jumped 6.27%, TRENT added 4.51%, SHIRAMFIN rose 4.24%, and BAJAJFINSV gained 3.63%. M&M also closed 3.34% higher.

Among laggards, KOTAKBANK fell 4.59%, marking the steepest drop. JSWSTEEL declined 1.85%, ONGC slipped 1.45%, and SBIN ended 1.18% lower.
Bank Nifty:
The banking index saw losses. IDFCFIRSTB rose 1.26%, and FEDERALBNK added 0.87%. However, weakness in heavyweights dragged the index down—KOTAKBANK lost 4.59%, SBIN dropped 1.18%, and AXISBANK ended 0.69% lower.

Nifty Next 50:
SWIGGY soared 12.35% after strong volume activity. ADANIGREEN climbed 7.15%, ADANIPOWER rallied 6.52%, MOTHERSON gained 4.70%, and CHOLAFIN added 4.52%.
On the downside, DMART decreased by 1.04%, BAJAJHLDNG dropped by 1.02%, and ICICIGI fell by 0.96%.
Today’s market session was largely range-bound, with selective buying in midcaps and Adani Group stocks driving gains, while banking stocks remained under pressure.
