Nifty 50 closed in green at 24,414, with Bank Nifty also rising to 54,610. Nifty Next 50 followed suit, ending at 64,134 — all three indices posting gains.
Nifty 50:
TATAMOTORS led the gains with a 5.18% jump. JIOFIN added 2.11%, BAJFINANCE climbed 2.04%, SHRIRAMFIN rose 1.85%, ETERNAL gained 1.65%, and COALINDIA was up 1.57%.

On the downside, ASIANPAINT dropped 3.97%, SUNPHARMA fell 2.10%, BAJAJ-AUTO slipped 1.26%, ITC declined 1.24%, and GRASIM edged down 1.14%.
Bank Nifty:
The banking index saw steady gains. AUBANK rose 2.21%, IDFCFIRSTB was up 2.20%, FEDERALBNK added 1.72%, and CANBK gained 1.63%. No major losers in the sector today.

Nifty Next 50:
MOTHERSON rallied 5.19%, CHOLAFIN added 2.90%, PFC rose 2.55%, RECLTD gained 1.91%, and HYUNDAI closed 1.91% higher.
Among the losers, SWIGGY declined 3.90%, ADANIENSOL dropped 3.55%, NAUKRI slipped 0.72%, and BRITANNIA was down 0.66%.
Today’s session remained calm. Broader gains came from autos, finance, and select industrials. However, geopolitical tension between India and Pakistan could influence market direction in the coming days.
