
Rail Vikas Nigam Limited (RVNL) (NSE: RVNL), which is a construction PSU in the Ministry of Railways, received a Letter of Acceptance (LoA) from South Western Railway for the award of an Engineering, Procurement and Construction (EPC) contract.
The project involves the design, supply, erection, testing, and commissioning of 2X25 KV OHE & PSI systems, including electrical general services and telecommunication works, between Rayadurga and Topavagada, a section spanning 99.463 RKM/114.145 TKM.
RVNL stated that this project is in the normal course of its business operations.
Kalpana Dubey, Company Secretary of Rail Vikas Nigam Limited, confirmed the receipt of the LoA in a filing with the stock exchanges.
This new project reinforces RVNL’s position as a key player in railway infrastructure development and electrification projects.
