Solar Industries India Limited (NSE: SOLARINDS, BSE: 532725) and its subsidiary have been awarded export orders totaling ₹2150 crore for the supply of defence products to international clients. The contract stipulates a six-year delivery timeline.
The company revealed the significant win in a regulatory filing, stating the orders are for the supply of defence products and are from international entities. Solar Industries clarified that the promoter/promoter group/group companies do not have any interest in the entities to whom the orders were awarded and that the transactions do not fall within related party transactions.
Suresh Menon, Director of Solar Industries India Limited, confirmed the details of the export orders in the filing submitted to the stock exchanges.
