DroneAcharya Aerial Innovations Limited has officially secured a significant work order from the Indian Army, operating under the Ministry of Defence, for the domestic supply of Sub Tactical Very Short Range Drones.

The company formally intimated the award on 21st October 2025. The contract involves the supply of 500 units of these specialized drones, along with all required specifications.

The total contract value amounts to ₹2,59,22,500/-, or approximately INR 2.59 Crore. The Letter of Award (LOA) for this substantial project was issued to the company on 18th October 2025.

This substantial domestic order is structured around a three-phase delivery schedule. The initial lot, comprising 166 units, is mandated for delivery before 16th April 2026.

Following this, the second lot, consisting of 167 units, is scheduled to be supplied before 15th July 2026. The final 167 units, constituting the third lot, are due for delivery before 18th October 2026.

The company has confirmed that the contract is considered to be at arm’s length and does not involve any related party or promoter interest.

Securing this order is seen by DroneAcharya as a key achievement, validating its technological strength and manufacturing capabilities, particularly concerning FPV (First Person View) drones.

The project is anticipated to significantly reinforce the company’s focus on the critical defense and security segment. Furthermore, the work is expected to contribute positively both to the company’s growth trajectory and its reputation within the defense domain.
