
Ceigall India Limited has emerged as the H1 bidder for a de-silting contract worth Rs 14.12 lacs from the Water Resources Department, Punjab, as per a BSE filing.
The contract involves de-silting of the Abohar Branch in between RD 0 – 69500. The company will also use the de-silted material for filling purposes in its adjoining projects.
The contract has been awarded through a domestic entity, and the order is expected to be executed within 20 days from the date of the contract agreement.
The royalty payable to the Government of Punjab, Water Resource Department, Abohar is Rs 3.5 per Cubic Feet (CFt).
The order adds to Ceigall’s existing pipeline of projects, strengthening its position in the infrastructure sector. The company’s ability to secure contracts from government entities demonstrates its capabilities in the sector.
As part of the agreement, Ceigall India Limited will be responsible for the de-silting work, and the contract is a significant addition to its order book.
