In a move that signals a significant leap for digital governance, LTM (formerly LTIMindtree) has announced a strategic collaboration with NVIDIA to overhaul India’s national tax analytics platform.
The partnership aims to support the Central Board of Direct Taxes (CBDT) under the ambitious Insight 2.0 initiative, a seven-year mandate designed to transform tax administration through the power of artificial intelligence and advanced analytics.
At the heart of this modernization is LTM’s BlueVerse platform, which will serve as the “intelligence backbone” for the entire program. By deploying a secure cloud environment powered by NVIDIA AI infrastructure, LTM intends to simplify complex workloads and provide the CBDT with real-time insights.
Investors should note the breadth of this integration, which includes:
- Smart Citizen Portals: Enhancing the interface for taxpayers to improve the overall user experience.
- Automated Workflows: Implementing AI-driven campaign management and enhanced case processing.
- Leakage Reduction: Utilizing predictive analytics to improve compliance and reduce revenue losses.
Gururaj Deshpande, Chief Delivery Officer at LTM, emphasized that this collaboration lays the “foundation for transparent, resilient, and citizen-friendly tax administration at scale”.
Similarly, Yogesh Agrawal, VP of Data Center GPU Business at NVIDIA, highlighted that the integration of NVIDIA’s accelerated computing with LTM’s platform will unlock “unprecedented efficiencies” for this project of national importance.
This announcement comes as the company—a Larsen & Toubro Group Company—undergoes a significant brand evolution. While currently pending shareholder and regulatory approvals, the transition from LTIMindtree to LTM reflects its new identity as an AI-centric global technology services company.
With over 87,000 employees operating across 40 countries, LTM is positioning itself as a “Business Creativity partner” capable of delivering high-stakes digital transformations.
