BMW Ventures to Supply Structural Steel for BHEL in Landmark ₹36 Cr Deal

BMW Ventures Limited announced today that it has secured the largest order in the company’s history, valued at ₹36 crore.

The contract involves the supply of fabricated structural steel for a project commissioned by the state-run engineering giant, Bharat Heavy Electricals Limited (BHEL).

The order will be handled by the company’s Fabricated Steel Manufacturing Division. In a regulatory disclosure, the company noted that this landmark deal represents a significant step forward in its manufacturing operations.

The domestic contract, which includes taxes in its ₹36 crore valuation, is slated for rapid execution.

BMW Ventures is required to complete the supply within 10 months from the date of the Purchase Order.

The financial terms of the agreement are structured to support the project’s commencement, with the company confirming it has already received an advance for raw materials. The remaining balance is scheduled to be paid upon delivery.

This major win provides the company with strong revenue visibility for the upcoming fiscal year. BMW Ventures further clarified that the contract is a standard business transaction, noting that:

  • The order was awarded by a domestic entity.
  • There is no interest from the company’s promoters or promoter group in the awarding entity.
  • The contract does not fall under related party transactions, ensuring transparency for shareholders.
