New Delhi- EMS Limited (formerly EMS Infracon Pvt Ltd) has secured a significant Letter of Acceptance (LOA) from UP Jal Nigam (Urban) for a major water supply project in Agra.”
This crucial development follows the company’s earlier intimation on June 21, 2025, when it achieved the coveted L1 (lowest bidder) status for the tender. The project represents a substantial win for the company, solidifying its position in India’s critical infrastructure sector.
A Significant Win for EMS Limited:
The newly secured contract boasts an impressive order value of approximately Rs. 10,405.52 lakhs (Rupees Ten Thousand Four Hundred Five Lakhs and Fifty-Two Thousand Only), excluding GST.
This substantial order underlines the scale and importance of the undertaking. The project is a domestic entity contract, awarded by UP Jal Nigam (Urban), a key government body responsible for water infrastructure.
Surveying, Soil research, Engineering, Design, and the Supply of all materials, labor, and Tools & Plant (T&P) required for the building, completion, testing, and commissioning of various key components are all part of the extensive scope of the work for EMS Limited. Specifically, the contract involves:
- This includes the Approach Bridge, Intake Well Cum Pump House, and related works.
- An innovative water treatment plant with a capacity of 55 million liters per day (MLD) that is state-of-the-art.
- Raw water rising Main (1100mm dia) from Intake well to Water Treatment Plant (WTP).
These projects represent a strategic contribution to improving the water infrastructure in the area, as they are included in the larger “Agra Water Supply Re-Organization Scheme (Trans Yamuna Zone-I & II)-Package 1,”.
