HFCL has announced the approval of its proposal for the allotment of 1,000 acres of land in Andhra Pradesh for establishing defence manufacturing facilities.
The State Investment Promotion Board approved the proposal, with the Industries and Commerce (Infra) Department of the Government of Andhra Pradesh formalising the decision via G.O. no. Ms. No.154 dated 6 September 2025. HFCL received this official intimation today.
The land is located in Madakasira Mandal, Sri Sathya Sai District, Andhra Pradesh.
The allotment will proceed in two phases through the Andhra Pradesh Industrial Infrastructure Corporation Limited (APIICL), an industrial infrastructure agency of the state government. Phase I will see the allotment of 329 acres, followed by an additional 671 acres in Phase II.
The proposed facilities are earmarked for the production of various defence products, including Artillery Ammunition Shells, TNT filling, and Multi-Mode Hand Grenades (MMHG).
The intimation was signed by Manoj Baid, President & Company Secretary, For HFCL Limited. This disclosure was made under Regulation 30 of the SEBI (Listing Obligations and Disclosure Requirements) Regulations, 2015.
