MUMBAI – IGC Industries Limited (BSE: 539449), formerly known as IGC Foils Limited, has announced a significant addition to its leadership team.
In a formal intimation to the BSE, the company confirmed that its Board of Directors has appointed Mr. Manoj Kumar Jhawar as an Additional Executive Director, effective 20th September, 2025.
Mr. Jhawar brings a wealth of experience to the role, with over 15 years in the logistics industry. His professional profile highlights a deep expertise in managing commercial operations, developing new markets, and formulating business strategies.
He holds a Bachelor’s degree in Commerce and possesses strong knowledge of supply chain management, procurement, and distribution networks.
According to the company’s disclosure, Mr. Jhawar’s appointment is subject to the approval of shareholders at the next General Meeting and he is liable to retire by rotation.
This is a standard procedure for such board-level appointments. In its filing, the company also clarified that Mr. Jhawar is not related to any of the existing Directors on the Board, a key detail for corporate governance.
