Mumbai – KEC International Ltd., a global infrastructure Engineering, Procurement, and Construction (EPC) major and part of the RPG Group, has announced it has secured new orders worth Rs. 3,243 crores for its Transmission & Distribution (T&D) projects.
The new orders include a landmark contract for a 400 kV Transmission line project in the United Arab Emirates (UAE), which the company has highlighted as its largest ever Engineering, Procurement and Construction (EPC) order to date.
In addition to this significant project, the company has also secured orders for the supply of towers, hardware, and poles in the Americas.
Mr. Vimal Kejriwal, MD & CEO of KEC International Ltd., commented on the development, stating, “We are delighted with the new order wins in our T&D business, especially our largest ever EPC order till date”.
He emphasised the strategic importance of the Middle East, noting, “This order has further strengthened our presence in the Middle East and substantially expanded our international T&D order book. The Middle East region continues to be a strategic growth driver for us”.
With these latest wins, the company’s Year-To-Date (YTD) order intake now stands at approximately Rs. 11,700 crore. Mr. Kejriwal added that these orders will play a key role in driving the company’s targeted growth going forward.
KEC International is the flagship company of RPG Enterprises, a business group with a turnover of US$ 5.2 Billion.
The EPC major has a presence in various verticals, including Power Transmission & Distribution, Civil, Renewables, and Cables, with a footprint in over 110 countries.
