RailTel Wins ₹101 Cr Government Contract for IT & SOC Services

RailTel Corporation of India Ltd., a prominent Navratna PSU, has announced the acquisition of a significant domestic work order from the Public Financial Management System (PFMS).

This major contract, valued at ₹1,01,82,38,520 (approximately ₹101.82 crore), further solidifies RailTel’s position as a leader in providing high-end IT solutions for government bodies.

The scope of the project is comprehensive, involving both supply and services. RailTel will be responsible for the establishment and managed operations of IT Infrastructure, covering both Data Centres (DC) and Disaster Recovery (DR).

Additionally, the contract includes providing crucial Security Operations Centre (SOC) services and Data Centre Colocation, ensuring the robust security and reliability of the PFMS digital ecosystem.

This long-term project is scheduled to be executed over a five-year period, with a completion date set for 7th January 2031.

The company has clarified that the awarding entity is a domestic body and the contract does not involve any related party transactions, nor do the promoters have any interest in the entity awarding the order.
