Rail Vikas Nigam Limited has secured a Rs 358.97 crore order from East Central Railway, as per a BSE filing.
The order is for the construction of doubling work, including earthwork, blanketing, minor bridges, major bridges, station and other buildings, platform work, and other miscellaneous works. The project is part of the doubling of the Sitamarhi-Raxaul section in the Samastipur Division of East Central Railway.
The contract is expected to be executed within 1095 days, and the order value includes 18% GST. The project is a significant development for RVNL, as it strengthens the company’s order book and reinforces its position in the infrastructure sector.
The order was awarded through a competitive bidding process, and RVNL emerged as the successful bidder. The company’s expertise in railway construction and its strong track record of executing complex projects were key factors in securing the order.
