The acquisition, formally communicated on 14th August 2025 at 8:55 pm (IST), saw Pininfarina S.p.A. significantly increase its shareholding in Signature S.r.l.. Pininfarina’s stake in Signature S.r.l. surged from an initial 24% to a controlling 84% of its equity share capital, representing the acquisition of an additional 60%.

This transaction was executed through a cash consideration, amounting to Euro 134,375. This sum specifically comprised Euro 1,875 for the subscription of new shares and Euro 132,500 for the acquisition of existing shares from other stakeholders in Signature. The acquisition’s completion date was noted as 14th August 2025.

Signature S.r.l., a subsidiary of Pininfarina, was first incorporated on December 20, 2017 as a joint venture with Napkin Forever. The company operates primarily from Italy and is firmly positioned within the Retail and Consumer industry, with its core business revolving around the stationery sector.

Financially, Signature S.r.l. has demonstrated consistent turnover in recent years:
