Vadilal Industries Limited confirmed the appointment of Mr. Himanshu Kanwar as the company’s new Chief Executive Officer (CEO) and Key Managerial Personnel, with his tenure effective from September 29, 2025.
Mr. Himanshu Kanwar is described as a seasoned consumer business leader with over two decades of experience across established FMCG giants and high-growth consumer startups. He possesses a unique blend of classical brand-building expertise and new-age digital fluency.
Currently, Mr. Kanwar holds the position of General Manager, Growth & Marketing Practice with XTO10X, where he mentors fast-scaling consumer businesses in sectors such as beauty, food, fintech, and OTT.
His extensive career includes multiple senior leadership roles at Hindustan Unilever Limited (HUL), spanning foods, beverages, personal care, and ice creams. As Business Head – Ice Creams at HUL, he was instrumental in steering the portfolio to strong growth through strategic acquisitions, disruptive innovations, and sustained margin expansion.
In his subsequent role as Global Brand Director for HUL’s South Asia Haircare portfolio, he oversaw innovation pipelines, brand strategy, and positioning updates for a number of well-known personal care brands, further solidifying HUL’s position as the industry leader.
Earlier in his career, Mr. Kanwar managed trusted household names in detergents and beverages and gained deep commercial acumen through frontline sales leadership roles.
Mr. Kanwar is an alumnus of the Indian Institute of Management Calcutta, where he specialised in Marketing, and holds a Computer Engineering degree from Delhi College of Engineering. This background equips him with a rare combination of analytical rigour, brand expertise, and an entrepreneurial mindset.
He is widely recognised for his ability to seamlessly bridge the worlds of established FMCG companies and emerging digital-first businesses, with a proven track record of building iconic brands and shaping new-age consumer ventures.
Vadilal Industries Limited confirmed that Mr. Himanshu Kanwar is not debarred from holding the office of Chief Executive Officer by virtue of any order from the Securities and Exchange Board of India (SEBI) or any other such authority.
The intimation regarding this appointment was signed by Rashmi Bhatt, Company Secretary & Compliance Officer, in accordance with Regulation 30 of the SEBI (Listing Obligations and Disclosure Requirements) Regulations, 2015.
