Websol Energy System Limited has reported a 70% increase in revenue for the quarter ended June 30, 2026, with revenue from operations standing at Rs 372.60 crore. According to a BSE filing, the company’s EBITDA for the quarter stood at Rs 125.58 crore, a 21% increase from the same period last year.
The company’s cell production increased to 259 MW in Q1FY27 from 126 MW a year earlier, while module production rose to 103 MW from 50 MW in the same period. This significant increase in production has led to a higher module offtake, indicating that both lines are now operating close to their intended run-rate.
Websol Energy has also prepaid its entire IREDA term loan of Rs 110 crore through internal accruals, without raising fresh capital and without deferring any part of its ongoing growth plans. This prepayment has resulted in the release of collateral securities, including the shares pledged by the promoters.
The company has initiated the upgradation of one of its existing Mono PERC solar cell manufacturing lines to TOPCon technology, which is expected to be completed by March 2027. This upgradation will increase the company’s total TOPCon cell capacity to 750 MW and strengthen its product mix.
The strong financial performance and significant increase in production have positioned Websol Energy as a leading player in the renewable energy sector. This growth is expected to continue, driven by the company’s focus on high-efficiency solar cells and its commitment to expanding its manufacturing capacity.
