Premier Energies has secured a massive Rs 3,011 crore order for the supply of 1,846 MW solar cells and modules, as per a BSE filing. The orders comprise delivery scheduled across FY 2027 and FY 2028. This large contract boosts the company’s order book and strengthens its pipeline.
The orders have come from a mix of leading power producers, module manufacturers, EPC companies, and other customers, reflecting strong confidence in the company’s manufacturing capabilities, product quality, and execution track record. The company is undertaking significant expansion of its manufacturing capacities, with the module manufacturing capacity recently enhanced from 5.5 to 11.1 GW.
The strong order inflow supports Premier Energies’ growth strategy as the company is embarking on a high-growth path supported by booming solar demand and the Indian government’s policy commitment to Make-in-India. The timely implementation of ALMM-2 policy is a critical enabler of business growth.
As part of its expansion plans, Premier Energies is expected to grow its solar cell manufacturing capacity from 3.6 GW to 10.6 GW by September 2026.
This expansion will enable the company to deliver reliable, high-efficiency solar solutions to its customers while supporting India’s clean energy and self-reliance goals.
This order reinforces Premier Energies’ position as one of India’s leading integrated solar manufacturers.
