L&T Heavy Engineering Bags Massive ₹2,500–₹5,000 Cr Global Orders from Dangote Group & International Clients

Larsen & Toubro has secured a series of large orders in international markets, reinforcing its position as a global leader in process plant equipment.

According to a BSE filing, the company’s heavy engineering arm has won orders from Africa’s largest industrial conglomerate, Dangote Group, for a mega refinery and multi-train fertiliser expansion projects in Nigeria and Ethiopia.

The scope includes the supply of critical process equipment, comprising the world’s largest Fluid Catalytic Cracking Reactor Regenerator Package, all critical urea and ammonia equipment. This order is a significant win for L&T, boosting its order book with one of the largest contracts in the engineering sector.

The company has also secured orders for its core equipment, including Coke Drums, Fractionator Columns, and Heat Exchangers from customers in Spain, the US, and Brazil. Additionally, L&T has won a repeat order from a Japanese customer for the manufacture and supply of Heat Exchangers and Absorbers for an LNG project in Canada.

The order adds to L&T’s existing pipeline of projects, strengthening its position in the global engineering market. As part of the agreement, L&T will deliver high-quality process equipment to its clients, leveraging its world-class manufacturing capabilities.

This order reinforces L&T’s position as a leading player in the engineering sector, with a strong track record of delivering complex projects to global clients.
