
Sanathan Textiles is on track to double its Technical Textiles capacity at Silvassa from 9,000 MTPA to 18,000 MTPA, according to a BSE filing. The expansion is in the final phase of execution and is progressing towards commercial commissioning. The company expects to commission the expanded capacity and commence commercial production in August 2026.
The increased capacity is expected to support the company’s integrated manufacturing platform and its ability to address evolving market requirements. Technical textiles is a specialized, high-growth segment with Sanathan Textiles’ yarns being used to make products across applications in automotive, agriculture, defence, and infrastructure.
The company has a diverse product portfolio catering to various sectors with over 3,200 yarn products and nearly 50,000 SKUs. Sanathan Textiles has over 7,000 customers, 400+ distributors across India, and exports to around 27 countries.
