ACME Solar Holdings Limited (formerly ACME Solar Holdings Private Limited) has announced a significant expansion of its portfolio, confirming the execution of a Power Purchase Agreement (PPA) for a substantial renewable energy project.

The company, through its wholly-owned subsidiary, ACME Platinum Urja Private Limited, signed a 25-year PPA with SECI Limited (Solar Energy Corporation of India Limited).

The agreement, which was formally signed on November 24, 2025, covers a 200 MW Solar with ESS (Energy Storage System) project. The PPA sets the tariff for power supply at INR 3.42 per unit.

This execution follows the adoption of the tariff by the Central Regulator and subsequent power procurement approval by the State Regulator.

The project requires the subsidiary to supply renewable energy for a 25-year period. Key operational terms mandate the supply of power during both solar hours and peak hours, aligned with SECI’s schedule.

Specifically, ACME Solar is required to maintain an annual Capacity Utilization Factor (CUF) between 25% and 27% during solar hours, and ensure minimum availability of 70% monthly and 85% annually during evening peak hours.

This domestic contract marks a major completion milestone for ACME Solar, bringing the full capacity of the 350 MW Letter of Award—initially received from SECI in July 2024—under formal contract.

The company had previously signed a PPA for 150 MW in October 2024.

The Scheduled Commercial Operation Date (SCOD) for this 200 MW solar-plus-storage project is slated for June 30, 2027.

Following the finalisation of this PPA, ACME Solar’s overall contracted capacity under signed PPAs has reached 5,380 MW (5.38 GW).

The company noted that in the current financial year alone, it has cumulatively signed PPAs for 800 MW of contracted capacity, which includes 2,320 MWh of BESS capacity.

ACME Solar Holdings Limited identifies as a leading integrated renewable energy player with a diversified portfolio encompassing solar, wind, storage, and hybrid solutions.

It currently boasts an operational contracted capacity of 2,934 MW and a massive under construction capacity of 4,456 MW, which includes 13.5 GWh of BESS installation.
