Bondada Engineering Limited has reached a significant milestone in its growth trajectory, securing a major Engineering, Procurement, and Construction (EPC) order from NTPC Green Energy Limited (NGEL).
This strategically important contract, valued at ₹391,38,03,298 (including GST), marks the company’s first direct engagement with NGEL, a prominent domestic Public Sector Undertaking (PSU).
Project Scope and Timeline
The contract involves Balance of System (BOS) works for a massive 300 MW Solar PV Project located at Lalitpur.
Under the terms of the agreement, Bondada Engineering will be responsible for the comprehensive lifecycle of the project, including design, engineering, site development, manufacturing, supply, installation, and commissioning.
Furthermore, the company has committed to providing Operations & Maintenance (O&M) services for a period of three years following completion. The entire project is slated for execution within a 15-month timeline from the receipt of the Letter of Award (LOA).
Strengthening the Order Book
This latest win significantly bolsters Bondada’s standing in the renewable energy sector. With the addition of the Lalitpur project, the company’s total EPC orders in hand have surged to approximately 3.3 GW.
This substantial backlog provides the firm with strong revenue visibility and execution momentum over the coming quarters.
The management noted that this order reinforces their execution capabilities and deepens their footprint in utility-scale solar infrastructure.
Beyond immediate financial gains, the project is expected to contribute meaningfully to the company’s profitability and long-term stakeholder value during its execution phase.
