Delhivery Subsidiary Spoton Logistics Facing ₹16.39 Crore GST Demand; Company Plans Appeal

Delhivery Limited has informed stock exchanges that its subsidiary, Spoton Logistics Private Limited, has been hit with a substantial tax demand following an appeal order from the Office of the Commissioner (Appeals), Gurugram.

The order, passed under the Central Goods and Services Tax Act and Haryana Goods and Services Tax Act, 2017, pertains to the financial years 2017-2018 through 2021-2022.

According to the regulatory filing, the tax authority has imposed a tax demand of ₹16,39,08,293, alongside applicable interest. Additionally, a penalty equivalent to the tax amount has been levied against Spoton Logistics.

The demand was raised primarily due to the alleged short payment of tax under the reverse charge mechanism. While the order was dated 31 December 2025, it was officially uploaded to the GST portal on 14 January 2026.

Despite the significant figures involved, Delhivery has maintained a confident stance regarding its financial stability. The company stated that there is no material impact on the financials, operations, or other activities of the listed entity.

To contest the demand, Spoton Logistics is preparing to file an appeal against the order with the relevant appellate authority.

This disclosure was signed by Madhulika Rawat, Company Secretary and Compliance Officer. The notification was made pursuant to Regulation 30 of the SEBI (Listing Obligations and Disclosure Requirements) Regulations, 2015.
