GK Energy Wins Rs 353.89 Cr Order for Solar Pumps from MSEDCL

GK Energy Limited has secured a large contract worth Rs 353.89 Crores from Maharashtra State Electricity Distribution Company Limited (MSEDCL) for the supply of 15,000 Off-Grid DC Solar Photovoltaic Water Pumping Systems.

According to a BSE filing, the company will design, manufacture, supply, transport, install, test, and commission the solar pumps across the state of Maharashtra. The project is part of the Magel Tyala Saur Krushi Pump Yojana.

The solar pumps will be of 3 HP, 5 HP, and 7.5 HP capacity, and the total value of the order is inclusive of GST. The company is required to execute the order within 60 days from the issuance of the work order or Notice to Proceed (NTP).

The contract was awarded through a competitive process, and GK Energy has emerged as the successful bidder. The company’s expertise in solar energy solutions and its ability to deliver high-quality products have contributed to its selection for this project.

As part of the agreement, GK Energy will ensure that the solar pumps are installed and commissioned within the stipulated timeframe. The company’s experience in handling large-scale projects will be beneficial in executing this order.
