Hyundai Motor India Limited (HMIL), one of the nation’s leading automotive manufacturers, reported robust sales figures for October 2025, driven significantly by the festive season and strong demand in the SUV segment. The company registered total monthly sales of 69,894 units.
The sales breakdown for October 2025 shows a significant contribution from the domestic market, with 53,792 units sold within India.
Furthermore, HMIL strengthened its position as a global manufacturing hub by achieving export sales of 16,102 units, marking an impressive 11% year-on-year growth in exports.
The strong performance was primarily attributed to high consumer enthusiasm coinciding with the festivals of Dussehra, Dhanteras, and Diwali.
This festive boost was further “complimented by the positive impact of GST 2.0 reforms,” according to HMIL management.
A key highlight of the month was the exceptional performance of HMIL’s formidable SUV lineup. The popular duo—the Hyundai CRETA and VENUE—achieved their second highest ever combined monthly sales figure, totaling 30,119 units.
Commenting on the results, Mr. Tarun Garg, Whole-time Director & Chief Operating Officer, HMIL, noted that the company witnessed “robust market demand”.
Looking ahead, Mr. Garg expressed confidence in maintaining this momentum. HMIL anticipates accelerating its sales trajectory with the upcoming launch of the all-new Hyundai VENUE, which is already open for bookings.
The company is confident that this refreshed model, featuring advanced premium features, segment-leading technology, and safety, “will redefine benchmarks in the compact SUV space”.
This press release was formally signed by Pradeep Chugh, Company Secretary & Compliance Officer. The disclosure was filed with the National Stock Exchange of India Limited and BSE Limited.
