RMC Switchgears Limited announced on 24 November 2025 the successful receipt of a major Letter of Intent (LOI) from a key domestic entity.
The contract, valued at a substantial ₹42,23,90,437.24 (Rupees Forty Two Crores Twenty Three Lakhs Ninety Thousand Four Hundred Thirty-Seven and Paisa Twenty-Four only), marks a significant boost for the company’s order book.
The awarding entity for this substantial contract is Rajasthan Rajya Vidyut Prasaran Nigam Limited. The nature of the order involves the execution of extensive works related to power transmission infrastructure.
Specifically, the project encompasses the Construction of a new 132 kV GSS (Grid Sub-Station) at Kalyanpur (Pachpadra), in the District of Balotra, along with all associated lines and bays.
This comprehensive work falls under the umbrella of a Supply, Erection, Testing & Commissioning (ETC) Contract.
The scope explicitly mandates the supply of all necessary Equipment/Materials, Erection (including civil works), Testing, and Commissioning. The company is required to complete the execution of the order within a timeline of 18 months.
RMC Switchgears Limited reported that the receipt of this LOI further strengthens the Company’s order book.
Management anticipates that the contract is expected to contribute positively to the Company’s revenue and overall growth prospects. The intimation regarding the receipt of the LOI was made pursuant to Regulation 30 of the SEBI (Listing Obligations and Disclosure Requirements) Regulations, 2015.
The company confirmed in its detailed disclosure that the awarding entity is a domestic entity.
Furthermore, the company clarified that neither the promoter group nor group companies hold any interest in Rajasthan Rajya Vidyut Prasaran Nigam Limited. The contract was also confirmed not to fall within the category of related party transactions.
