In a significant boost to its infrastructure portfolio, Ceigall India Limited (CIL) has announced that it, along with its partner SAM India Builtwell Pvt. Ltd., has been declared the L-1 bidder for a major expansion of the Jaipur Metro Phase-II MRTS.
The contract, awarded by the Jaipur Metro Rail Corporation Ltd, is valued at approximately Rs 918.04 Crores,.
The project will be executed through a joint venture in which Ceigall India holds a dominant 74% share, with SAM India holding the remaining 26%. This domestic project involves the design and construction of a 10.8 km elevated viaduct and a total of ten elevated stations,.
The planned stations include Prahladpura, Manpura, Bilwa Kalan, Bilwa, Goner Mod, Sitapura, JECC, Kumbha Marg, Haldighati Gate, and Pinjrapole Gaushala. Additionally, the scope of work covers a spur line leading towards the project’s depot.
Operating under an EPC and Item Rate contract mode, the joint venture is expected to complete the massive undertaking within a stipulated timeframe of 34 months,.
Ceigall India has officially confirmed that neither the promoter group nor its group companies have any interest in the awarding entity and that the contract does not constitute a related party transaction. Investors will likely view this win as a milestone in the company’s growth within the urban transit sector.
