Magellanic Cloud Limited has secured a Rs 69.29 crore order from South Central Railway, according to a BSE filing. The contract involves the Supply, Installation, Testing and Commissioning (SITC) of advanced IP-based CCTV surveillance systems across multiple South Coast Railway stations.
This project aligns with the company’s strategic focus on expanding its AI-enabled video surveillance and intelligent public safety solutions.
The project includes the deployment of surveillance infrastructure at major junctions such as Vijayawada, Rajahmundry, Nellore, Kakinada, and Gudur along with associated Signalling & Telecommunication (S&T) infrastructure. This order comes within days of another surveillance order from the same railway division, reflecting the continued confidence in the company’s execution capabilities.
The contract was awarded to Provigil Surveillance Limited, a wholly-owned subsidiary of Magellanic Cloud Limited. This order adds to the company’s growing order book in the transportation security segment, expanding its presence across critical railway infrastructure projects in India.
As Indian Railways continues to modernize its security ecosystem, the deployment is expected to strengthen passenger safety, enhance operational visibility, enable intelligent incident management, and support the broader adoption of AI-driven surveillance technologies across the transportation sector.
This order reinforces Magellanic Cloud’s position as a leading player in the transportation security segment, with a strong focus on AI-enabled surveillance solutions.
